Arashel came to be after a Summer vacation when I bought myself a soap-making kit for fun.  Little did I know how addictive it would become, and how it would soon take over my kitchen and laundry.  The addiction soon blossomed into a business, and "Luv-Lee Creations" was established in Doreen, Victoria in January 2010.   The name was changed to "Sparkle" when I took on candle-making.

My family made the big "tree change" in August 2017, when we sold our home in Doreen, and bought a little weatherboard house on 60 acres in Limestone...an amazing little hidden valley in the middle of nowhere.  Here I decided to change the name of my business to "Arashel", a very fitting Hebrew name meaning "from strong and protected hills".

Here my business extended to well over 50 different products, but the recent covid 19 lockdowns brought about an overall assessment of the structure of Arashel, and life in general.  So, I have pulled in the reins a fair bit, and am now focusing on Arashel's top sellers....soaps, candles, lip balms, lotions and room fragrance.  

I was very excited to finally have the opportunity to add "farm fresh produce" to our line up of products!  I completed the required "food handling course" online, and have had my little country kitchen certified by the local council (and done so every subsequent year).  I now offer a good sized selection of gourmet jams, relishes, chutneys and relishes, and have also started making herbal  and salt blends.  I am trying to be as authentic and original as possibly, sourcing as many local and Aussie ingredients I possibly can.  Also growing and dehydrating a lot of my herbs and citrus peels.
